Are you a highly experienced and skilled Band 8 Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a passion for orthopaedic care? North Manchester Hospital is seeking a dedicated locum nurse to join our Orthopaedic department, offering expert care to patients undergoing musculoskeletal treatments and surgeries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver high-quality orthopaedic nursing care to patients.
Oversee the assessment, planning, and delivery of care for orthopaedic patients, including pre-and post-operative care.
Supervise and support junior staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and recovery.
Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical guidelines.
Requirements:
Valid NMC registration.
Proven experience in orthopaedics, with a strong understanding of musculoskeletal conditions and treatments.
Leadership skills with experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff.
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage complex cases.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
