Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our client based in Dartford. We are recruiting for experienced and forward thinking Accounts Assistant. This is part-time, 2 days per week and long term temporary contract position and working for very well established accountancy company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression.

Flexible start time: 9.30 to 16.30 or 10.00 to 17.00

Job Profile

  • Recording and processing transactions via data entry into the ledger ensuring that they are correctly coded and posted to the right account.
  • Raising sales invoices monthly and sending to clients
  • Maintaining the aged creditor account and chasing up late payments.
  • Maintaining records and ledgers.
  • Reconciling client accounts and bank at the end of each month
  • Maintaining and managing the filing system both manually and electronically
  • Handling client enquiries

Candidate Profile

  • The candidate must have a strong interest in working in a busy finance environment, meet targets and deadlines and possess a keen attention to detail.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of working with accounting software: Sage, Xero, QuickBooks.
