Machine Operator – Amada Punch Machine
Location: Dartford
Salary: £12.50 per hour + DOE

We are currently seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our client’s busy production team based in Dartford. You will be operating the Amada Punch Machine within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing high-quality products for external customers.

Our client is ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years’ experience operating Amada machinery. However, they will also consider applications from experienced Machine Operators who can be trained on the Amada machine. Salary will be reflective of skills and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating the Amada machine
  • Handling sheet metal safely and efficiently
  • Checking and testing products to ensure quality standards
  • Finishing products to specification
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Skills, Experience & Person Specification:

  • Ideally 2 years’ Amada Machine operating experience (or strong machine operator background with willingness to train)
  • Ability to follow instructions, technical drawings, and diagrams
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Reliable, conscientious, and hardworking attitude
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable
  • Team player with excellent communication skills

Job Specifics:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Rotating shifts:
    • 14:00 – 22:00 (Monday-Thursday, 7.5 hours; Friday 13:00-20:00)
    • 06:00 – 14:00 (Monday-Friday)
  • Competitive salary reflective of experience
