About the role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling steel frames using a variety of hand tools and equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities:

Assembling steel frames to specification using hand tools, guillotines, and rivet guns

Reading and following assembly instructions and technical drawings

Performing manual handling of steel components safely and efficiently

Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

Keeping work areas clean and organised

Working as part of a team to meet production targets
Shift pattern:

Week 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm

Week 2: 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm, with Fridays off
Shifts alternate weekly, offering variety and a long weekend every other week.
About you:

Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing preferred

Confident using hand tools and basic mechanical equipment

Comfortable with manual handling and physically demanding tasks

Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Able to work well both independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to shift patterns and location
