Sales Manager – Motor Parts
Location: Carlisle
Salary: £32,500 per annum + Bonus (Up to £5,000 annually)
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for the automotive industry? We’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team at a well-established motor parts company.
About the Role:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily sales operations, managing a small team, and driving revenue growth through excellent customer service and strategic sales initiatives. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and growing our client base while ensuring the team meets performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve targets

Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade and retail customers

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with purchasing for timely replenishment

Handle customer queries and resolve issues effectively

Analyse sales trends and develop strategies to maximise profitability

Ensure high standards of customer service and product knowledge across the team
What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the motor trade or automotive parts sector

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving

Good working knowledge of motor parts (preferred but not essential)
