We are looking to recruit a warehouse operative for our well established client in the local area and the main duties of the role will be as follows :-
– Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles
– Perform heavy lifting of materials and products
– Order picking & packing duties
– Good numeracy skills
– Stock taking duties
– Assist with shipping and receiving processes
– Perform general housekeeping duties tasks to keep the warehouse clean and tidy
– Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times
– Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
– Knowledge of materials handling techniques, including picking, packing, and stacking
– Basic understanding of shipping and receiving processes
– Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
This role will be based Monday to Friday and the hours of work will be – Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday’s 7.30am to 2pm.
